satori or: the decisive moment
The concept of satori may equal the photographic "decisive moment" (Henri Cartier-Bresson). It is the moment, when fulfillment and emptiness coincide, the absolute "Now", the moment of absolute devotion.
It is written and said, that the experience of satori had somehow "mystical" features. Personally, I can't see anything "mystical" here. No "elevation", no "blessing", no religious "rapture".
For me, satori is the very Now of focus, and the very liberation from thought and the very liberation from doubt and the very liberation from - words.
